The main village of Guanaja Island is actually located on a smaller island on the East side of Guanaja. Small convenience stores, banks, churches, restaurants, bars, food and produce stores, municipality & local government offices, Ferry dock & office, airline office, pharmacy & health clinic, barber shop and a variety of colorfully decorated ramshackle island dwellings, intertwining canals and interesting local inhabitants. $50 per guest. 2 guest minimum.
MANGROVE BIGHT, MITCH & SAVANNAH BIGHT: (Three fishing villages located 4 miles North of the resort)
Boat, Tuk Tuk (taxi) & Walking Tour
This tour begins in the Western village of Mangrove Bight and traverses through small paths, sidewalks and the only road on Guanaja Island. See the sights and get a first-hand experience of the laidback islander lifestyle and observe many styles of local dwellings, quaint ramshackle in a colorful assortment. Marinas & docks harbor a variety of locally built pleasure craft, commercial fishing vessels most built by local boat builders. Other points of interest on this tour include bakeries, churches, schools, sports and recreational areas, an ice cream shop, farms, gardens, restaurants & bars. $60 per guest. 2 guest minimum.
GUANAJA ISLAND BOAT TOURS: (Circumnavigate Guanaja island by water)
Weather permitting and possibility of (altered tour routes) Half Island and full island tours.
Half Island tour $400-$450. Additional guests $60 per person
Full Island tour. $600-$700. Up to 4 guests. Additional guests $100 per person
SOUTHWEST CAY: (Remote uninhabited island)
Visit a palm studded desolate island on the East side of Guanaja. Dive, Swim, Snorkel, picnic or just relax on the beaches of this exotic island paradise. Full Day tour $450. Full day up to 4 guests. Additional guests $75 per person
BARBARETA: (Pigeon Cay)
A small coconut studded islet West of Guanaja. Spectacular Snorkeling, Scuba Diving and Beachcombing Experience! It is a great place to have a party and a cookout. Full Day Tour. Weather permitting. $650. Full Day up to 4 guests
WATERFALLS: (at Big Gully)
A Guided hour’s hike from the resort. $30 per guest. 2 guest minimum
WATERFALLS OF THE RESORT:
These waterfalls provide the End of the World with our fresh water supply. A leisurely 10-minute hike from the Resort. Guests can make this trip on their own. Ask staff for directions
BAR TOUR CRUISE and HONKY TONKIN: (Bar tour by boat of Guanaja’s Night Life Experience)
This excursion takes place at night. We will visit some of the most popular bars and clubs of Guanaja by water taxi. Don’t forget your camera. $350-$450. Up to 4 -6 guests.
GRAHAM’S CAY: (Private Island Resort, Beach, Restaurant and Bar)
A private island resort located on the South side. Great bar, restaurant, swimming and relaxing. Popular with locals. $100 per guest. 2 guest minimum
LA GIRALDIA: (Island Chocolate factory, Bar and Restaurant)
Bar and restaurant located in Sandy Bay. Great food and opportunity to check out how chocolate is made. A private pool is also available for a small fee when available. Lots of souvenirs from Guanaja artisans. $75 per guest. 2 guest minimum.
