Getting to Guanaja

How to Get to Guanaja, Honduras — Traveling to The End of the World Resort

Connecting Transportation to Guanaja Island

The easiest way to reach Guanaja Island (GJA) is to fly into Roatan (RTB), Honduras. Major US international flights to Roatan operate from Miami, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Denver, and Los Angeles via American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines. From Canada, seasonal service is available on Sunwing (Toronto) and WestJet (Montreal).

Arrival & Departure Tips

Most guests plan their vacations for 7 to 14 nights, typically arriving and departing on Saturdays. This schedule gives ample time to clear customs and immigration at Roatan before boarding the Galaxy Ferry for a scenic 1.5-hour voyage to Guanaja. The ferry departs from Roatan to Guanaja and returns in the morning to accommodate connecting international flights.

Upon arrival at Guanaja’s ferry dock on Bonacca Cay, our End of the World Pro Dive boat crew will warmly welcome you, assist with your luggage, and transport you directly to the resort by boat.

Alternative Travel Options

For arrivals or departures on other days, several connecting transportation choices are available:

· Private boat charters directly from Roatan to the resort dock (no lines or delays)

· CM Airlines, offering commercial flights between Roatan (RTB) and Guanaja (GJA) on select dates

· Private air charters from Utila and Roatan, with approximately 30–40-minute flight times

Our in-house concierge, an expert in local travel logistics, is ready to assist you with booking and coordinating these transportation options for a stress-free trip.
