The Resort
The End of the World Resort is located on Guanaja Island’s Northside, Hammond Beach which is the best Beach on Guanaja. There is access to various coral reefs just off the beach for great snorkeling, two waterfalls & miles of unspoiled white sand beaches.
The hotel is approximately 85% solar powered providing refrigeration, light, ventilation & communications. Our water source originates from a deep volcanic aquifer providing guests with the sweetest water you have ever tasted.
Scuba Divers, Snorkelers, Vacationers & families all find The End of the World an exotic and unique destination providing a level of comfort you might not expect in one of the Caribbean’s last unspoiled islands.

The Rooms
THE BEST GUANAJA HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Cabanas at The End of the World Resort all have breathtaking panoramic ocean view rooms. Some of the most beautiful and romantic in the world. Bedrooms are tropically furnished & decorated in an island motif complete with authentic native stone masks and local Indian artifacts.
Each unit has private bathrooms with showers and outside observation decks. Fresh sea breezes and forest shade provide natural air-conditioning and a clear cascading waterfall provides the cabanas with the sweetest crystal clear drinking water you have ever tasted!
Cabanas are carefully positioned on the mountainside allowing peak air ventilation. Single units with one bedroom one bathroom and two bedroom units with two bathroom units are available.
GUANAJA ROOM: Located on the plush hillside within the resort’s tropical gardens. Panoramic views overlook Michael Rock Bay and the Northside barrier reef. One of the ocean views on Guanaja island. An incredible clear line of sight to the Western Caribbean sunset. Observation deck, 1 queen bed, tables, chairs, turbo fan cooling & private bathroom. Capacity 1-2 guests.
ISLANDER ROOM: Adjoins the Guanaja room within the tropical gardens. Breathtaking views of the Northside barrier reef and a panoramic view of the inner lagoon and coral reef. Bathed in warm light with a relaxing tropical hue. Observation deck, 1 queen bed, tables and chairs, turbo fan cooling & private bathroom. Capacity 1-2 guests
ANGLER ROOM: Above it all and brightly lit. Wonderfully located on the Northern hillside. Enjoy the views of the inner lagoon and fishing flats. An atmosphere for guests to completely relax. Observation deck, 1 queen bed, optional additional single bed, tables, chairs, turbo fan cooling & private bathroom. Capacity 1-3 guests.
COPAN ROOM: A room tastefully decorated in the Payan / Copan motif. Can be connected to the Angler room through a lockout door. Located on the hillside. Views of the island flora, the inner lagoon & the ship’s channel cut through by perpetual flowing waters of Guanaja’s largest waterfall.
